The Jonas Brothers Songs: How It All Started
The band also released its first album entitled “It’s About Time”. For this album the band had collaborative efforts with several experienced and amazing writers. The band’s first single from the album is “Mandy”. The song was released in December 2005. The band also did two cover songs for the album, these songs were from a UK band named Busted. The songs titles are “What I Go to School For” and “Year 3000”. Another song from the album is “Time for Me to Fly”. The song was also included in the soundtrack of the teen movie Aquamarine.
The Jonas Brothers songs also covered the following songs: “6 Minutes” by Lyte Funky Ones, “Kids of the Future” by Kim Wilde, “I Wanna be Like You” by Louis Prima, and “Take on Me” by A-ha.
The band created the theme for the second season of the Disney animated show American Dragon Jake Long. The band also covered a song for the DisneyMania 4 album. The song they did was “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me)”.
After the band was dropped by Columbia Records, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records in February 27 2007. With the new record company, The Jonas Brothers was able to reach even greater heights.
The Jonas Brothers also sang the song “Kids of the Future”. This song was included in the soundtrack for the movie Meet the Robinsons. Another song by the Jonas Brothers is “I Wanna Be like You” from DisneyMania 5. The band also did the song “Poor Unfortunate Souls” for Disney’s The Little Mermaid Special Edition Soundtrack.
The band’s self-titled album “Jonas Brothers” was released on August 7, 2007 and enjoys tremendous success until today. In its first week of release, the album reached the number 5 spot in the Billboard Hot 200. Two music videos were also released to support the marketing of the album. The two music videos are for the following Jonas brothers songs: “Hold On” and “SOS”. Other songs from the self-titled album include: “When You Look Me in the Eyes”, “That’s Just the Way We Roll”, and so much more.
