Columbia signed The Jonas Brothers records after hearing songs from one of the Jonas Brothers Songs Nick Jonas’ album. The three lads originally wanted to name the band Sons of Jonas but decided to go with the name Jonas Brothers instead. This was in 2005. The band went on tours, playing as front acts to artists like Kelly Clarkson, The Backstreet Boys and others.
